I'm your neighbor behind your Middlefield Palo Alto house. Very funny sight. I needed some whimsy to put creases in my face.
Thanks

Well, it was fun setting this page up. I hope
you all enjoy it. Here are some open questions:
What is Alaska doing at those parties?
Would Gene go on a canoe trip with Rick?
When does Peter's new play open?
What is Polly's sign?
Will Ray have a new career as evangelist,
and what is his Email address?
All the best to all of you, -- Charly

What a read! A knuckle-whitening, stomach-churning, breath-taking, bun-clenching page turner. Left my heart pounding like a washing machine full of galoshes. I read it till I stopped. Can’t wait for the movie. But who to play you? ... John Tesh? ... Rodney Dangerfield?

Chuck, I took the liberty of downloading most of your web site so that your nephew and niece could see it. They will love it, much like they love you.

Eddy Lane Christmas Party December 12, 1998: Memorable Moments

Watching Dave Ewart get interrogated and the look of terror on his face
Seeing Michelle in her "new look"
Singing "Happy Birthday" to Lois
Those amazing Martini's in the beautiful glasses
How stunning Marty and Trevor looked in their tuxes
Talking with Dorcus, Bud, Bryn and Harper at the end of the party
Cleaning up with Heather and Trevor
George playing the trumpet
Singing "Carol of the Bells"
Watching Lupe, Mike, Trevor, George, Dave and Heather singing
Being embarassed as Charly serenaded me
Hearing Andrew's son Levi say he's thankful for being invited to "cool parties"
Hearing Donna's response to Charly's question "Do you know the muffin man?"
Hearing the "speedo" theme ala John Fuchs throughout the party
Sparkling happy Antoinette coming in with "the cat"
Helen's artwork with the monkies
John being upset that Mike got to spend more time with Doug than he did
Losing the feeling that the sticker game was "under control" when
I heard the questions Charly was asking

46Sun Dec 13 1998 22:21Charly Olson cbo@charlesOlson.com
Memorable moments for Charly:

Leaping up to volunteer in response to Mary's request
for people to say what they are thankful for,
and then serenading her. [This was all totally unplanned].

John Fuchs' warm praise for my courage in serenading Mary.
Thank you so much, John.

Mary & Charly (it's just not coming as naturally as Chuck!),

I've enjoyed visiting your web site and getting to know even more
about you, not only in fact, but by the content selection and what
you are communicating. Very nice exposure of self--in both ways!

The party was just great. Fabulous people. Open and warm communication.
Great setting. So much preparation led to constant entertainment. Creating
an opportunity to dress up made it even more fun. Plus, an opportunity to
share such a nice drink and take away virginity from two women (martini virginity!)

Looking forward to more.

Mary & Charlie,

We had a wonderful time at your Christmas Party. Thank you so much, for inviting us. We met and laughed with so many wonderful characters (David, the wild and crazy Scottish bartender, Hat-woman, the exotic Southern belle, Karen, with the Lady Godiva hair, Charly, with the huge "cajones", the ever mysterious "Speedo Man", Martini Man, Mr. Toscano (pistachio man), Mrs. Toscano the ever gracious food server, and of course watching Mary blush at "The Serenade". Great Party, Great time!

We sure had a great time. The idea of the stickers
was absolutely brilliant! It was a wonderful
ice-breaker for so many people who didn't know
each other.

We're sorry we had to leave so early,
although we actually stayed about an hour longer
than we intended -- it was such fun!

Thank you both again for a WONDERFUL evening!

Love, Alison & Marland

I had and interesting meeting with you today,
discussing your possible addition to your house.
Then I picked up your card and took a peek at your
web site. It was like picking up your diary, but
since I didn't "pick it up" I couldn't put it down.
Thank you, I really enjoyed it.
