After the Libertarian conference, I toured Costa Rica.

Did i tell you i'm fond of bananas?

I saw some interesting lifeforms.

I don't know what the flower is on the left,
but that is a cryonicist on the right
(named Ben).

Hop on the bus...

Here's Kiki!

He'll be our driver
and our guide.

[he's great!]

I'm travelling with Marge (above right).  Kurt and Edith, too.

And we met some fun fellow travellers: Janine, Jacqueline & Chauncey.

We were on our way to the Arenal Volcano & Tabacon Hot Springs

Here's a tremendous biological success.

The leaf is partially eaten -- almost half;
yet, look at all that successful reproduction!

A tiny tiny orange mushroom chalice!

Then Marge & I went on to Blue Bay on the Golfo de Papagayo for a few days.
It is a resort near El Coco (Coco beach) on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, towards the north.

...love those costumes...

I did a lot of snorkeling and scuba, and saw
    sea turtles,
     giant manta rays,
      lobsters & crabs,
       octopi, sea urchins,
        planaria, brittle stars,
and tunicates of such an assortment of colors that it would make a child's crayon box blush.
