On October 10, 1999, i played keyboard at Father Mac's retirement party.

For the past 18 years, Father Mac has served as the pastor
at the Episcopal church which my brother and his family attend.

Happy retirement, Father Mac!

The children at the Sunday School made him a poster.

Many thanks and praise were also given to his wife Beverly.

i played mostly ragtime, but also some classical,
some made-up stuff, and a bit of everything.

i also gave Father Mac a cassette tape with a piece i had composed, entitled:

    Father Mac Opens the Door...

           (...to Retirement).

i hope that retirement proves to be a fine and wondrous new world for him.
